Stigmata

Stigmata
By AJ O’Brien.

Where leads this dark road
that I must tread?
I am not worthy,
bring me back.
Stop this ancient bleeding.

I kneel before the figure
upon the cross on the hill.
Forgive me for I have sinned.
I bleed
I am mortal.

  1. This…. I don’t think I can even articulate how powerful this is. This is one of the best poems I have read. Amazing. Please, never ever stop writing! x
