M.A.D.

M. A. D.
Mutual assured destruction
By AJ O’Brien.

They’re on their way
One hundred dark angels
dressed to kill,
in suits of shining armour
searching for blood to spill.

Cruising high and silent
sailing across the skies
carrying songs of death,
and when they arrive
there won’t be anyone left.

Locked on to the innocent
they’re on their way down,
beyond turning back.
Let loose your dark angels?
Two minutes to impact.

  1. Lovely poem but the message, not so cool. Set loose subjective chaos because collective chaos is coming? Doesn’t that just lift the veil of what “civilized society” as an ideal should be or what “Civilized” society actually is? #lovely
